Kevin Foley was born in Melbourne in 1955. He is an experienced Art Educator & printmaker having studied Fine Art at the Preston Institute of Technology in the late 70’s and attaining a Diploma of Education in 1980 from Melbourne State College. Kevin finds inspiration for his prints from the landscape, his flock of Suffolk sheep and Border Collie, Scout. These motifs evoke a sense of place. He relies on his observations to influence the content and form in his work, as he divides his time between his studios, one in Melbourne and the other in Central Victoria.
